Hello again
Now in my description of what you would find on my blog here, I did mention that I would be sowing you pictures of some of the things I have made, designed and created. I love creating as it allows me to say things without words, especially in my digital creative crafting and art. Even the
first type of crafting I did when I got into the hobby a few years ago now was card making, although I still love doing that, I now have , not through a conscious decision to do so but more in that I found my makes veering more towards makes using all kind of materials like paints, varnishes, wool, twine, mdf, wood, dried and material flowers and leaves, broken jewellery, old magazines and newspapers, in fact, if anything is stickable, stampable, paintable or recycleable, if stays in one place for long it might well find itself on a make of mine! One of my crafty passions though is digital crafting and this is becoming more popular as more and more people find themselves short on space or without a craft shop within regular reachable distance. The joy of crafting digitally is that you have the equivalent of a whole papercraft shop or library at your fingertips and that once you have used a background once, you don't have to get your coat on, get in the car/on a bus, possible in bad weather to find somewhere that can sell you a replacement, you simply print another copy off again!
I first got into digital crafting via a craft mag that I just happened to buy and with the craft mag came a free gift of a cd-rom full of images complete with a crafting graphics program on it. Full instructions were on it. I loaded the cd into my laptop to see what was on it and from then on I was hooked. That cd was the start of a much wider crafty journey than the one I first thought I would be on. Once I got the hang of how to use that cd I upgraded to the next level of the program and the rest is history. The thing I love about where I am now on my crafty journey is this. Yes , you can still find me spending hours given half the chance pouring over gorgeous paper pads, ribbons, and embellishment and metal craft cutting dies[another crafty passion, di-cutting!] but equally I am quite happy and content to spend hours looking through all my digital crafty artwork kits and playing with them. I have that choice. I can make something totally personalized to someones hobbies, favourite photos and places for cards, gift boxes, memory books, all sort of things, or just fancy do something else I still have my boxes of more hands on stash.
In this post I have shown you some of my digital creations. Hope you like them
