In the time since I wrote the last couple of posts I have been thinking more about what sums or would sum up a so called 'perfect' or 'ideal' Christmas, one that for me sums up the magic that is Christmas and indeed the festive season. So here is my list re-visited! What would your list look like?
Christmas spent in a log cabin in the country
Hanging up homemade stockings and writing letter to santa
Attending a traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols
Watching good wholesome Christmas films on the tv
Hot chocolate and marshmallows curled up by a log fire
Making and decorating gingerbread houses, cinnamon stars and cranberry garlands
Making snow angels in the snow
Warm mulled wine/Fruit punch and warm mince pies
Traditional Christmas markets and fairs
Having a non stop playlist of favourite Christmas carols and songs playing in the background on loop
Going to see a good old fashioned panto
Raising a glass to love ones no longer here
Sharing memories of Christmasses past with family and friends
